Bio
I believe it is important to meet each individual where they are at in life, and work with them in steps to reach their therapeutic goal. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment for you, where we can work together to discover your strengths and supports that will help you to your goal. I utilize various evidence-based practices including mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as solution focused/strength based therapy
I specialize with teenagers and adults of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and working through life struggles. I have experience in child welfare, foster care, and family reunification. I also have experience with supporting those who are experiencing caregiver burnout, chronic illness, grief, and crisis intervention. I also specialize in working with survivors of domestic violence.
I have many years of experience in the world of first responders. From firefighting, EMS, and Law enforcement, I have experienced the rewarding aspects of the job, but also witnessed the struggles and dark side that many others have not seen. By having this experience, I encourage any first responders struggling with the job and the toll it takes on you to reach out and know you are not alone.
I look forward to you reaching out to begin your journey of healing, discovery, and building the best version of you.
