Bio

You may have survived things that taught you to keep going, stay strong, and carry it all alone, but healing was never meant to happen in isolation. I help veterans, first responders, and adults who are carrying the weight of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life transitions find a safe place to breathe, feel understood, and begin healing at a pace that honors their story. As a veteran myself, I understand that pain does not always look obvious, and healing is not about being “broken” or needing to be fixed; it is about having someone walk beside you as you reconnect with the strength, stability, and purpose that may feel hard to reach right now. I bring over 2.5 years of experience serving veterans within the VA system, along with experience in residential substance use treatment and private practice, and I am EMDR trained, a certified trauma professional, and a certified drug and alcohol counselor. My approach is compassionate, steady, direct when needed, and deeply human. I strive to create a space where you don't have to explain your pain, where you aren't judged for how you've survived, and where we can gently make sense of what you've carried. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying everything alone, therapy can be a place to feel seen, regain your footing, and begin building a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and yours.
