Bio
I am a trauma-informed therapist with over 2.5 years of experience serving Veterans
within the VA system, and a lifetime of understanding the unique challenges
faced by those who serve, because I am a Veteran myself. My work is grounded in
compassion, clinical expertise, and a deep respect for the resilience it takes
to heal.
I am EMDR trained, a Certified Trauma Professional, and a Certified Drug and Alcohol
Counselor, with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma,
PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. Prior to my VA
work, I provided therapy in residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation
settings and in private practice, helping clients rebuild stability, reclaim
agency, and move forward with intention.
My approach is direct yet supportive, structured yet deeply human. I focus on
creating a safe, steady space where clients feel understood, not judged, and
where therapy moves at a pace that honors their nervous system and lived
experience. Whether you are carrying the weight of trauma, struggling with
substance use, or simply feeling stuck, you do not have to do this alone.
Healing is not
about “fixing” you, it’s about helping you reconnect with your strengths,
regain stability, and build a life that feels meaningful and grounded. I would
be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
