Bio
Amber Cress, LPC-A
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate specializing in empowerment, military and sexual trauma, relationship dynamics, and psychedelic-assisted therapies. My approach is deeply holistic, weaving together neuroscience, somatic awareness, and evidence-based trauma therapies like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
With experience working with individuals wanting to optimize their lives, veterans, survivors of human trafficking, and individuals healing from deep emotional wounds, I provide a compassionate, grounded space for transformation. I also offer coaching and education on psychedelic-assisted healing, helping veterans and others integrate profound experiences into lasting change.
In my work with couples, I guide partners in fostering secure, open, and self-led connections. Whether navigating communication challenges, exploring non-traditional relationship structures, or deepening emotional intimacy, I support individuals in staying anchored in their authentic selves.
My work focuses on:
✔ Trauma Healing (sexual trauma, veterans & military)
✔ Psychedelic Preparation & Integration
✔ Couples & Relationship Dynamics (including non-traditional)
✔ Somatic & Parts Work (IFS, EMDR, resilience-building)
✔ Women’s Self-Leadership & Empowerment
Healing isn’t just about processing the past—it’s about reclaiming your power, strengthening resilience, and stepping into self-leadership. Let’s work together to create lasting change.
