A Heartfelt Goodbye
Effective September 1, 2026, Wellworth Therapy is closing its doors.
Why We Are Closing
When we founded Wellworth Therapy, we set out to do something simple and deeply human: connect people who were hurting with gifted, compassionate therapists who could help them heal. For years, that is exactly what we did, one conversation at a time.
The world of mental health care has changed quickly. With the emergence of large, well-funded platforms like BetterHelp, Headway, ZocDoc, and many others, the landscape has shifted toward scale in a way that a small, personal practice like ours simply cannot match. We have looked at every path forward, and we have reached the difficult conclusion that it is time to close our doors.
This was not an easy decision, and it was not made lightly. But we would rather end this chapter with honesty and grace than compromise the quality of care that has always defined Wellworth.
What This Means for You
We are no longer accepting phone calls. If you have questions about your records, your care, billing, or anything else, please email us at info@wellworththerapy.com and someone will respond within 48 business hours.
If you are currently working with a Wellworth therapist, please reach out to them directly about continuing your care. Many of our professionals will continue their practices independently, and we will do everything we can to help you stay connected to the support you need.
If you or someone you love is in crisis, please do not wait. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, available 24 hours a day, every day.
To Our Patients
Thank you. You trusted us with something precious: your health, your story, and your hope for something better. You showed up on hard days. You did the work. You let us be a small part of your journey, and we will never take that for granted.
Please know that the progress you made is yours. It does not belong to Wellworth, and it does not end when we do. Carry it with you.
To Our Professionals
To every therapist, counselor, and clinician who joined us: without you, there would have been no Wellworth. You brought skill, patience, and an enormous heart to every session. You believed in a smaller, more personal way of doing this work, and you proved that it matters.
We would never have had this amazing journey without you. Wherever you go next, the people you serve are fortunate to have you.
With Gratitude
Our name came from two ideas: the well, a gathering place where people nourish one another, and worth, the belief that every person has inherent value. Those ideas do not close with our doors. They live on in every person who found a little more peace, a little more strength, or a little more hope because of the time we spent together.
Thank you to everyone who trusted Wellworth Therapy for their health needs, and to the professionals who made it all possible. It has been an honor.
With love and gratitude,
The Wellworth Therapy Team
