Bio

Megan is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who provides virtual sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. She has experience working in higher levels of care, school-based counseling, collaborative care, couples therapy, substance use/DUI treatment, and within the private practice setting. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, relationship building, body image and acceptance, life transitions, and personal development. She enjoys helping clients improve their interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills, enabling them to create the relationships they want and resolve conflicts in existing relationships. She enjoys working with older teenagers and adults, providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

Megan employs a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic approach, striving to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and cared for. She likes to utilize an integrative approach, pulling from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attachment Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to create a customized therapeutic experience. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and traveling. She also enjoys live music, hiking, and loves to spend time with her family and rescue dog, Charlie.
